Biro Tipo Vol 01 (Bahasa Indonesia)

Typography scene is flourishing in Indonesia. There are so many interesting players coming from different cities - not just the big ones, but from second cities too. So far, no printed documentation is done yet so we did exactly that.

Launched during Jakarta Art Book Fair in October 2022, Biro Tipo is a 'playlist' of Indonesian-made typography curated by Binatang Press' initiators, a creative studio called The 1984. Each volume will carry its own topic, where each selected fonts is accompanied with specimens, interview and design implementations.

The English version launched during Bangkok Art Book Fair in November 2022.
