Upon their attack to Alengka Pura, Sri Rama and his monkey troops is intercepted by Ravana's most powerful son, Indrajit. He released a powerful incantation called Ajian Sesirep, enchanting Sri Rama's troops to sleep. Being the only ones surviving the spell, Hanoman and Wibisana are forced to see their brothers being savagely tortured. Angered, Hanoman tried to reach the front line but Wibisana kept him from doing so. Instead he asked Hanoman to look for Lata Mahosadhi at the summit of Himawan mountain. Lata Mahosadhi is a powerful plant that cures all kinds of illness and resurrect the dead. Hearing this, Hanoman immediately flew full speed, not listening to the rest of Wibisana's instructions.

The summit is a dense jungle with immense variety of plants. Hanoman realized that he didn't even know how Lata Mahosadhi even look like. At wit's end, he enlarged himself through the skies and tear the summit away, took it along to the battle grounds. He asked Wibisana to directly pick the plant, and went on to revive Sri Rama and the monkey troops.
